Starting from the Romagna Riviera, places such as Rimini and Marina di Ravenna offer exciting and effective sailing practice sessions, of varying duration, from one day to extended programs of several months. In this area you can combine the fun of the Riviera with a sailing course. If you rent a boat or catamaran for a week-long vacation, you can associate it with a sailing school during specific hours of the day, in a program that includes theoretical and practical modules. In this formula, an instructor will be on board for the practical part (or the skipper himself who leads you). The main sailing schools are in Chioggia, Venice, Caorle, Bibione, Grado and finally Trieste, therefore the same starting points as our boat rental packages. The capital of Friuli is one of the national capitals of sailing: it was the birthplace of the Olympic champion Straulino and the skipper of the America's Cup Mauro Pelaschier. Trieste cannot be mentioned without mentioning the evocative Barcolana which takes place in the gulf in October: the largest group regatta in the world open to individuals with all types of boats.
